Your driver will pick you up at your hotel at 7:30am and take you to the airport for a 9:15am flight to Inagua, arriving in Inagua at 11:35am. You will be met at the airport by your Inagua expert guide and be taken to your guesthouse. After a light lunch, your island exploration will begin.
Drive with one of Inagua’s expert guides to see the famous flamingo flocks (numbering 60,000 on the island), burrowing owls, 12 spe
cies of herons and egrets, as well as wild donkeys and other wildlife that frequents the inland lakes. You will pass the Morton Salt lakes, where they use the consistently sunny days on the island to evaporate sea water and gather salt from it. Learn about the long history of salt on the island and other interesting facts as your guide shows you the sites. Return to your guest house for a fine meal made by your local host.
